Here comes my latest fabric basket. I am in love with
how it turned out! It's Spring! Go and enjoy seeing
Spring flowers out there! They are so beautiful!
The opposite side. Fun Fun.
Hello Kitty drawstring bag. My mom has recently sent
me some Japanese fabrics including some prints of
Hello Kitty. As soon as I saw this particular fabric,
I knew I had to make something for my friend who loves
Hello Kitty and whose birthday is just a few days away,
so I made this drawstring bag super quickly for her.
It's now on its way in the mail to her.
Some of you may remember the project I was working
on to use up scrappy fabric. I completed a
drawstring bag from the scraps this morning.
Surprisingly it took much much longer than I expected to
finish. I was pretty picky about fabric choices and barely
resisted going to grab fabric other than scrappy fabric.
But I am glad that the bag turned out to be fun,
as I was hoping it to be.
Woo Hoo! These scraps are now happy.
They are not in a ziplop jammed, winkled, and
hidden anymore but are a part of a fun bag!!
This is the reversed side. I used this lovely
vintage fabric I snatched recently.
Isn't the rooster adorable?
The fabric basket and the scrappy drawstring bag
are in my shop now. Let me know in the note to seller
that you read my blog for a little gift ;)
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Thanks for looking!!
The drawstring bag is cute. What a wonderful way to use up scraps that are too cute to toss! The reverse side is just as nice.
