I just discovered that Sew, Mama, Sew!
is hosting this May Giveaway Day blog event!
Perfect timing! I was just about to post
a giveaway for my second year blogiversary,
and I was hoping to join their Giveaway day
next time. Perfect, perfect!!
So what I have up for my giveaway is six
bundles of fun, unique fabric! Three of them
came straight from Japan and the other three
are my lucky vintage finds on ebay/etsy.
The first three, including this poodle one above,
is about a fat quarter size, and the other
three, vintage fabric, will be cut into
about 15" by 15". I'm thinking that I'll
pick one random winner for all these goodies,
but if many folks entered for this giveaway,
say over 400 people (which I doubt will happen),
I will cut each of these six pieces of fabric
into 4 pieces and I'll announce 4 lucky winners
for the shares of each fabric. Sounds good?
I love the poodle fabric but I'm in LOVE
with this kitchen-themed fabric. This is
designed by a Japanese textile designer,
Suzuko Koseki. This is one of the cotton
print fabric by her that is very hard to find
nowadays in the market. I was lucky to
snatch this one at this Japanese online
fabric store, but as far as I know this is
pretty rare now. The colors, the fonts
of the text and everything is just so cute!
I used this fabric for many projects
because it's so easy to find fabric
that is combined well with this fabric!
I love the little words that make this
polka dots fabric extra interesting too.
Now to the vintage fabric!
This is really cute, isn't it?
It will be perfect for making something
for children trying to learn alphabets.
The cat and the little chicks are
my favorite!
This is another fabulous vintage fabric
I've got over ebay. What can I say?
I love everything about it!
Here comes the last vintage fabric
which is also cute! Look how much
those little sodas cost! So vintage
and so adorable!
I'll leave this giveaway open until May 20
and will select a lucky random winner (or 4 winners
in case over 400 folks leave comments.)
The rule is simple! Leave one comment
for this post. I'd be happy to hear
what you want to see more of in this blog
but that is not necessary at all ;)
Oh and I'd be happy to ship internationally.
Have fun and good luck!
Happy 2 Years !! Thanks for all of the inspiration and tutorials over that time - Yummy fabrics too.
